I am not sure I recognize the difference. Debbie Chang is a cofounder of Horizons. She likely invested in her "personal capacity" because Horizons will typically only 'venture' into mutlimillion dollar deals. Debbie feels strongly enough in TAAT that she invested her own money. Don't be surprised if you see a Horizons 'venture' or 'seed' round in the multi-million dollar range once TAAT executes and proves that its 'disruptive' product in the tobacco industry is everything they said it would be. I expect this 'personal capacity' investment is a precursor to something much bigger. It's like testing the water before you dive in.
