Taurus Gold Corp. is a Canada-based mineral exploration company. The Company has interests in one mineral exploration property, the Charlotte property, located in central Yukon Territory, Canada. The Charlotte property lies in the Dawson Range portion of the Tintina Gold Belt. The Charlotte Property consists of 139 full or fractional quartz mineral claims and mineral leases that cover an area totaling 2,357.1 hectares (approximately 23 km2). The property is located within the traditional territory of the Little Salmon/Carmacks First Nation and lies 60 km west of the community of Carmacks. The Charlotte property hosts low-sulphidation type epithermal quartz-sulphide veins and breccias within northwesterly-trending structural zones, adjacent or proximal to mineralized porphyry intrusive rocks. Other active mineral projects in the Dawson Range area include Rockhaven Resources’ Klaza Project, Triumph Gold’s Freegold project and Granite Creek Copper’s Carmacks project.
