RE:it could take longer to fix drill rig 40 years oldI wondered that too...but certainly Art as CEO is well aware how first delay has caused him to receive a million emails and phone calls and texts asking what the he'll is going on. He certainly doesn't want this again. So when the inspectors said the ballast tank and top drive needed repairs, you can be sure he was very thorough in asking " HOW long do you need to repair these? And likely asked again...are you certain they can be done in the time you are saying?. To re quote what they said.....i think we can believe them. No one is perfect and can forsee every problem. Tbey waited until it looked for sure inspection was going to go through in one week and then they found two problems right before departure time. Im willung to cut them some slack...no one is perfect. To requote them......On August 22, we announced the rig was expected to be approved for departure on August 26, after a thorough inspection and permitting process. The rig inspection identified deficiencies with the top drive and ballast tank and as such requiring repairs before departure. These repairs, which are required for worker safety, are expected to be completed this week upon which time mobilization is expected to commence
