I guess they do not remember the 1970's and how that worked out for us then. You could only get gas on odd or even days depending on your licence plate number. World prices went up 300% and prices in the US went up even more. What a disaster and they want to repeat. Does any western country not have an idiot in charge?
Of course an embargo could be good for oil and gas prices in the world market as the West tries to control oil prices with their own set price. The West will not see the hypocricy of trying to stop OPEC from coluding to set prices by coluding amongst them selves to set prices of a comodity they refuse to produce themselves. You can not write this stuff any better, it is like a made for tv comedy.
