A completely "dry hole", even though the logs suggested otherwise
Mechanical problems that cause an apparently successful well to quickly turn to failure
In the case of gas wells, problems with the gathering system
and I could regale you for hours with horror stories, because I saw 'em all
So I'm always optimistic, as you can obviously tell by my posts, but I am keenly aware of
the realities of the oil and gas business and I want you to be aware of those realities, as well.
