1933 Industries Sees Q1 Revenues Decline, Blames “Low Priced

Is the state of Nevada about to head down the same path as California for the cannabis industry? 1933 Industries suggested as much this morning when they reported their Q1 2022 financing results, wherein they indicated their declining sales is a result of “low-priced flower flooding the market.”

Good article. Thanks for sharing. And to think weed stocks were all the rage a couple of years ago. The entire sector has collapsed even though weed has been legal here in Canada for over 2 years.  Hexo, one of the largest weed companies in the country, is trading at all-time lows (in the 90 cent range). Very disappointing to say the least. Competition is tight and it seems the novelty has ...more

Key difference between Nevada and California is Nevada has a limited fixed number of cultivation licenses.  No new player can enter the market and create more supply.

Nevada just issued a cultivators license to a company not too long ago. Taking the last two quarters of revenues into account it is obvious there is an over supply in Nevada. If their wasn't visitors would be buying any bud they could get their hands on including 1933's products.
