RE: You Want Numbers? - Here They Are

RE: You Want Numbers? - Here They AreBeware of posts by TMSM I can confirm the comments by Anubus that patent offices DO NOT build and/or test patent claims. They simply compare the patent application to other patents and existing technology and award a patent if they do not find anything that clearly invalidates the inventors claim to having originated the idea. The patent simply confirms the patent holders claim to have originated the idea/invention. It is obvious that TMSM did not talk to the patent office and is either dumb or deliberately lying - take your pick. Many patents can easily be invalidated by doing a better search of prior records than the patent office did. Only problem is this can be an expensive process involving legal action to get the patent invalidated. Xogen's patent looks good and professional because they obviousely hired a competant and professional patent writer to tart up their technology and make it sound more sophisticated than it appears to be. In the unlikely event that they have discovered some new and commercially economic way of generating hydrogen it is unlikely that the patent will protect them because they do appear to have diclosed all the details in the patent. Patents only cover what is disclosed.
