I use cannabis for chronic pain.  It helps to prevent erroneous messages from travelling up the nerves along the spine.  THC and CBD are also both anti-inflammatories.  If I am on the verge of a migraine, THC or CBD will increase my threshold which often prevents the migraine from ever occuring.  I have used plenty of strains with high CBD including ones with 0% THC.  If you have no pain then you are not going to notice much of anything using only CBD, but there is more to it than meets the eye.  Blame our elders for the lack of research on it.
