RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:It's a great mystery

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:It's a great mysteryIs that 100mg of thc beverage a multi-serve or one serving?

I know Dixie had one out that was a ms that people were mistaking for a single serve which I could see as a problem, at least for me.

I like a nice pleasant buzz in a tasty drink where I am still left functioning.  100 mg of thc would probably put me off that beverage for awhile or forever.

Diehard tokers can handle that dosage but I think the real market is in ready to serves that give you enough buzz and the capacity to decide to have one or two more as the occasion progresses.

I am a firm believer in moderation with thc just like red wine and whisky!

I can see cannabis lounges might be able to make it in big cities for the smoking cannabis crowd but I don't see alcohol venues branching out to cover both styles when they already have a perfectly good venue set up for alcohol which will suffice well for consumers wanting a thc beverage option.

I see THC beverages doing rapid catch-up to soft alcohol offerings and possibly even overtaking them which is what a lot of the pot players and especially the beer manufacturers are very concerned about.

Less calories and sugar for overweight and diabetic/pre-diabetic consumers from a thc or just a cbd drink is a smart option and that doesn't include consumers that are already using cbd or cbd/thc skus for pain relief or anxiety relief.

If I subbed a cbd beverage for  an alcohol laden one it would cut the calories significantly and low sugar and calories is also a win.

If I was in relax and socialize then alcohol or a thc option or both, in moderation, would be fine.

I don't think there is enough education happening to inform potential consumers of cannabinoid drinks about the benefits and pitfalls.

The kicker for pot drinks is the rapid onset and offset which I deemed as essential to have them work more like alcohol that consumers are more familiar with.  A 10 mg thc'er that slams down a 100mg and gets taken by surprise to the paranoia tour or for medical aid is a big concern for a repeat customer which is what I would be looking for.

If the lobbyists can get the law and policy makers on the right track such that existing alcohol bars can also serve thc drinks, I beleive that the industry would welcome cannabinoid options alongside their regular stuff.

For Tinley's bringing on the Beckett's line is part of the exploration process where somebody felt there was a niche but sharepricewise the best product we had was the CBD Hemplify.

The award edge we had with the Tinley's was squandered imho by our own ability to stay the course with reliable supply in California.

The Beckett's could be another Lyres in capable hands and profitable because it isn't illegal in half the places you would want to sell.

What do I know, I still think the coffee shop cbc creamer could be a winner that would get a buck or two out of consumers who are already coughing up $4 or $5 for a specialty coffee that just might help with anxiety, sleep or body pain or the CBD filled bottle cap that you screw on to your favorite bottle beverage for easy consumption.

I do see a bright future for some formulators with the cannabinoid beverages if they can be served in bars but there is a big mess of law and policy that needs to be cleared.

Is SAFE getting passed going to be the kickoff.

I think they need to pick the best of all the bills that cover most of the problems, go to school on what Canada did wrong to hogtie our headstart and pay attention to the industry lobbyists because they know what is needed to help them thrive and a level playing field with beverage alcohol is only fair and needs to be started, sooner the better!!!!
