This company is for real - product on shelves

I copied and pasted this write up from someone on the FB group who lives in Cali and got to talk to the dispensary owner for his thoughts and experience with Tinley:

"I chatted with the store owner for 15 minutes or so about Tinley’s and some of the other cannabis drinks he sells. Below are some of the key takeaways.
-Cannabis drinks in California are still in its infancy. Although novelty, gaining traction quickly. Excited about what’s to come of the market. Says our drinks are marketable to non users who come to his store for teas/herbs and then notice his collective in the back.
-Tinley’s out sells all other beverages he carries 3-1.
-Price point is better then all other competitors(most edibles as well).
-Our drinks reach a wider demographic and have multiple uses for many occasions. Some of the THC/CBD drinks that he sells(Cann), sell to a very specific type of person for a singular occasion where as Tinley’s not only will sell to that same demographic but also the full spectrum of other cannabis users.
-He also mentioned that after he explains what Tinley’s is and how it’s used, consumers almost always go for Tinley’s over others. Also recommend that we release a THC/CBD beverage as well as drinks made with Indica strains. Apparently he’s had some requests but said it hasn’t been a deal breaker with customers.
-He’s excited to get the carbonated drinks back in stock and is aware of the facility changeover. Disappointed of the delay as his customers have been requesting the drinks and hopes they will still come in looking for them in the future.
-Summer time is when our carbonated line sells best. Winter and holidays is when the Cask’s sales pick up.
-Owner of Mother Nature’s Remedy is currently working to stabilize his companies drink and looking to have Tinley’s bottle for them. (This is just one instance of what may cause a delay in a co-packing agreement.)"

Maybe I'm glazing again but no mention of the actual dispensary in this post.  Looks like a legit post but isn't that the point.  If I could read that story, go to the dispensary website and see a picture of any TNY products with something that signals out of stock, then so be it but after being here for four years and seeing none of the dispensaries I checked last week having ...more

Apologies, shoud have mentioned the store. It was Mother Nature’s Remedy in Woodland Hills, California.

From their main page, hit the drop-down menu and select 'beverages'.  Two pages worth of results.  No listings for TNY.  https://mothernaturesremedy.com/collections/all/beverages?page=2 While, I'm not saying I don't believe you, I'm 3000 miles away and all I have are those types of evidence in my continual pursuit of company information/knowledge.   ...more

The owner, did state that he's looking forward to stocking Tinley again.  Like a few dispensaries, they are waiting for re-stock and thus the change from shelf life to Mars.  There has been a real problem getting product into stores.  This relationship with Mars seems better equiped to distribute and market Tinley than any other.

I went back this morning and re-read an NR from the fall about Shelf Life and at one point I outlined that they had taken delivery of all of Tinley's products.  Upon re-reading the fall NR it looked as though Shelf Life only took delivery of multi-serve products.  I still had a nagging feeling there was something about them being exclusive for everything.   AND  ...more

MJ- From the Drinktinley.com page at the bottom.  One example.  Three casks and the High Horse are there at this place under edibles. manzanita209.com

B.E.A.Utiful thank you for this truly.  I was just about to look for the one Jespo posted and then this.  Man I hope that $26 price tag is not for a single drink and for the 4 pack.  MJ1

For fun go look on that same page at one of the descriptions of our competitors (Keef) and tell me what you notice.  Here are two of the links: https://manzanita209.com/menu/?dtche%5Bbrands%5D=Keef&dtche%5Bproduct%5D=keef-bubba-kush-root-beer-soda-10mg https://manzanita209.com/menu/?dtche%5Bpath%5D=brands&dtche%5Bproduct%5D=tinley-high-horse-12oz MJ1

Other than the price, that fact I have the last one in my cart or the lack of any info on the High Horse...I see no difference.

From a purely Marketing standpoint, which would you be more inclined to buy solely based on the information/image in front of you? That's what I was driving at, assuming you are talking about the difference between the Keef product and TNY.  MJ1

Its going to take some more time to build this up. Not sure who is going to do it but this type of stuff needs to be done asap. I assume the High Horse is a four pack but there is no indication it is anything more than one single serve...pretty pricey! Keep telling myself they will get there but this is frustrating to say the least

Yes it's very pricey. I've tried all the products except for Becketts pop. Not interested in pop.
