Why did the short positions for Cura, Trul, Green Thumb and Cresco double from Oct 01 to Nov 15??? 

What do they think they know that we don't?

They didn't. Your link doesn't show at least Trulieve because I checked.  The short have diminushed since the three last reports for Trulieve, link below.  https://www.marketbeat.com/stocks/OTCMKTS/TCNNF/short-interest/
