First American Uranium (URM.c FAUMF) is a North American-based jr mining company that currently controls one American and one Canadian property.
URM's US property, Red Basin (Catron County, New Mexico) was estimated by previous owners to contain between 1.6 and 6.5M pounds of U3O8.
URM plans to conduct a regional airborne radiometric survey of the project, followed by other studies that will assess the project's Uranium production potential. The Red Basin project is also prospective for Vanadium.
The company recently raised $857,500, putting them in a good cash position to explore Red Basin and their Canadian property, Silver Lake
