Kraken Energy Corp. (Ticker: UUSA.c or UUSAF for U.S. investors) aims to aid the US in its transition to nuclear energy sovereignty, striving to become a leading domestic uranium producer.
UUSA controls 3 past-producing projects in Nevada, the Apex, Huber Hills, and Garfield Hills Projects. UUSA has plans to drill at all three of its projects this year.
Looking at UUSA's Garfield Hills Property specifically, this project recently returned positive downhole probe results from its 2023 drilling program. A total of 11 completed holes, covering an area of approximately 400 m by 900 m, returned wide zones of elevated radioactivity as identified with a downhole gamma probe. Assay results are expected to be released as soon as possible.
Additionally, the project's mineralized surface expression was outlined to be over 4km along strike EW from the project's current drilling area, and multiple uraniferous anomalies were discovered. The continued intersection of elevated radioactivity and confirmed surface mineralization is highly encouraging to UUSA and the company is planning a follow-up Phase 2 drill at the project for later this year.
