The formation of this alliance is yet another example of the US government's efforts to decrease its dependence on Russia for its uranium supply and increase its own energy independence and security.
Kraken Energy Corp. (Ticker: UUSA.c or UUSAF for U.S. investors) aims to aid the US in its transition to nuclear energy sovereignty, striving to become a leading domestic uranium producer.
UUSA is dedicated to the advancement of three past-producing projects, namely the Apex, Garfield Hills, and Huber Hills Projects, all situated in Nevada. By leveraging new technology and innovative methods, UUSA is confident in its ability to extract additional uranium from these historically productive sites.
UUSA has recently completed significant drilling activities at its Garfield Hills projects, and samples from these drilling efforts have been sent to a lab for analysis, with results expected to be released soon.
This quarter, UUSA has scheduled a drill program at the Apex Project, which hosts Nevada's largest past-producing uranium mine. Multiple samples from the Apex Project have already returned grades 0.5% U3O8 and up to 3.19% U3O8. Another upside of this project is that it also historically produced silver and samples of gold grading 15 g/t.
Additionally, UUSA has plans for a drill program at Huber Hills before the end of the year.
