There was a lot to like. For me, the news that they are close to working out a licensing deal to sell MPX in California was encouraging. No indication of plans to buy any dispensaries there - they remain focused on entering restricted markets with limited licenses, to try and leverage their ability to raise capital against the "mom and pop" businesses. States like Washington, Colorado, Oregon, Cali do not seem to appeal to them, more focused on NJ, Ohio, Michigan. As far as Ontario, I dropped off during the question period, so I don't know how much it was discussed, but Canada is definitely not their focus right now. Given how developed the big players are in Canada, I can see the rationale - they will enter the market, but it's not going to be a focus - more of a way to diversify. As Canada allows for the export of products, that will open up those possibilities as well. Based on the fact that the facility has to be fully built out to issue a license, will be a little while before there's huge news there, and by then... the granting of a license will no longer rate. This is definitely a stock to be "long" on - once the tide turns in the US people will flood into this. Just a question of when.
