BETHESDA, Md. - Downtown Bethesdas business district is about to get more diverse as it prepares to welcome its very first medical marijuana dispensary. According to officials with Health For Life Bethesda, the store will make cannabis infused flowers, patches and mints available to properly licensed clients. Health for life is part of MPX Bioceutical's, an Arizona based company which has chosen Maryland for its east coast expansion. The store on Fairmont Avenue will officially open its doors to clients starting this weekend. "Arizona has had the program running for a few years now versus Maryland which is pretty brand new, said store manager Mike Troung. I am expecting patients to have all those new questions and i am expecting to learn what the patients can teach me being from the west coast so it is going to be entirely different out here which I am super excited to learn about." The company also stated that it hopes to continue growing across Maryland with sights already set on more stores in Dundalk and White Marsh.
