Eviction of Artisinal MinersInteresting that the governement is taking such a pro-active stance regarding the illegal mining.  Not sure of the near term impact but certainly a positve long-term if the govenment sticks with it.

 There is tension eviction of some 6,000 miners in Buritica , Antioquia. Mayor decreed since Sunday Prohibition, automotive mobilization banned in access roads to the city center and close gambling establishments .  Humberto Antonio Brown suga , Mayor of the town, called illegal miners not to make things harder and for solutions to their situation in a concerted manner are sought.  For his part , the representative of the National Confederation of Miners of Colombia , Ruben Gomez said that the area is unfolding a war scenario , since the presence of the authorities is armed and peacefully.  According to the spokesman of some miners they have already been shifted to the municipalities of Segovia and Santa Fe de Antioquia .
