RE:RE:RE:John Helmer Article

RE:RE:RE:John Helmer ArticleI think the answer to your question lies in what you think the value of the company is today, and where you think they're going. If they sell the FG pit to Nordgold, that's one valuation. If they stay, build it out, funding their share along the way, that's another value. After the forthcoming release of the BFS, I believe Columbus has 3 months or so to announce their intentions as to which way they'll go. Remember, at that point we're the minority partner in the pit. One strategy might be to pursue a partnership with Nord, as we all know that would be cumbersome for them, thus incentivising them to get us out of the way. They believe their shares are undervalued in the market, thus are pulling them back in. I'm sure in due time when they feel they can get a fairer shake for the value they bring to the table, they'll relist as a stronger company. At that point, that's when they take us out. There's 5 million ounces in play here, maybe going to 6 or 7, so this is a serious deposit by anybody's standard.
