Sep 18 Investor Note

Sep 18 Investor NoteGuys, a lot of what I discuss in these investor notes is not specific to GLH, but make no mistake...I still have 3.5 million shares of GLH and believe in the future of the company.  Here's today's investor note:

This morning I have been watching videos from CNBC and Fox News and a host of other media outlets all tripping over themselves to get on the cannabis bandwagon.  Cannabis is really having a moment right now.  It’s trending better than ever with Coke announcing it wants to get into CBD beverages and Estee Lauder announcing they are launching a hemp seed oil cosmetic at Sephora.  Even the tobacco execs are finally starting to move with Altria announcing that it is exploring options.  Big Big money continues to move in and that’s got to be good for greasing the old hairy palms of those money puppets in Washington.  Just watch as all the money starts making these money puppets dance and sing Puff the Magic Dragon.  As we’ve always discussed it's all about the Benjamins and getting a big cut of that American apple pie and now that global corporations are unabashedly entering the fray the money puppets are clearing the way.

The question in the article below is, “Does Legal Weed Make Police More Effective”.  This article from the Washington Post highlights findings from a university research project.  The findings basically conclude that police in States that have legalized cannabis may be more effective at fighting real crime rather than wasting their time going after low level pot arrests and donuts.  As far as I’m concerned you can’t take this research too seriously and there are plenty of arguments to be made that cannabis had nothing to do with increasing policing efficiencies in these Rec States.  But who really cares if these researchers are 100% right or not?  The fact is that this article once again shows that the sky does not fall when you legalize pot.  All of these research articles on drug driving and crime rates and emergency room visits have consistently shown that there are almost no negative consequences of legalization cannabis (and they also point out typically that there may be some benefits in terms of opioid death rates).  And this of course gives the likes of Jeff Session angst because politics can only argue nonsensical cr@p in a vacuum of information.  And increasingly cannabis is not in a vacuum.  The stats are years old now and getting more data points all the time.

Great days in cannabis guys.  If you’ve got the money and the man balls or lady balls then get it into some of those US plays we have discussed.  I seriously doubt you will be sorry for taking the chance at this point.  If there was one stock that I think might move before the others it is CWEB.  I think Charlotte’s Web will move faster because it is CBD and CBD has the best buzz right now in terms of the US and the Hemp Act potentially passing.  Plus when the Hemp Act passes CWEB may be able to get onto a US exchange because CBD will not be federally illegal if the Hemp Act passes (or at least that is my understanding).  And if gets on a good US exchange who knows how high the current hype may take it.  Just my two cents and where I am loading up right now.  The end of US federal prohibition is fast becoming a lock and the gains should be absolutely spectacular.
