Choom is a cannabis production and sales license applicant under ACMPR.
Facility located in Vernon, BC capable of producing 660kg of dried cannabis per annum. Plans to expand within existing facility to a total of 1500kg/year.
Dec 5 2017: Retained CCI to help expedite its ACMPR application.
Dec 13 2017: PP of 5M units at a price of $0.20 per unit for gross proceeds of $1M. Exercisable by holder to purchase one additional common share at a price of $0.25 for a period of 18 months.
Jan 18: LOI to acquire 2nd late stage applicant under ACMPR. “The target” located on Vancouver Island is at the confirmation of readiness stage
Jan 25: PP of up to 5M units at a price of $0.50 for gross proceeds of $2.5M
March 7: Signed first agreement in its retail investor program and is pleased to welcome an Okanagan consortium to the Choom brand. The consortium, known as the 'Thompson Okanagan Choom Group' ("TOCG") has secured the exclusive territory rights to open multiple Choom™ branded retail dispensaries in the Thompson-Okanagan region.
March 16: amalgamation between Choom Arbutus Brands (its wholly owned subsidiary) and International Tungsten Inc (ITI). ITI has submitted “AOR” package to health Canada.
March 19: Strategic investment and supply agreement with ABcann for gross proceeds of $7M and $4M lead order.
March 28: LOI to acquire Flower Power Cannabis Farms, and its wholly owned subsidiary Highway 10 Inc. Highway 10 Inc has 16,000 sq/ft facility. Capable of producing 1500kg of dried cannabis per annum. "We are very pleased Choom™ has increased its total production capacity with the addition of potentially our fourth advanced stage applicant. Upon completion of the tenant improvements within the initial 17,000 sq. ft. building, Flower Power intends to submit its affirmation of readiness ("AOR") evidence package to Health Canada, which they hope will follow with the receipt of a cultivation license shortly thereafter.
