RE:RE:Just joined the club . . .Thanks JWIT2000; it's always nice to open a new file in my portfolio.  Also nice to buy just before the ex-dividend date.  Like you, I'm in it for the long run - and like you (I think), I know that it's hopeless to try and time your purchases to "buy at the low".  Sure, I expect banks to drop further, but who really knows?  No one.  Therefore, like when I'm at the store and they put Libby's Brown Beans on sale, I'll buy a case and put it on the shelf.  Haven't gone wrong so far!
