Its Damned Cold Outside!

Its Damned Cold Outside!Latest weather reports says -1 degree Centigrade is the highest temperature we can expect for the next 2 weeks. When I last talked to Jason the CFO he said Chinook was waiting to get the best price they could for their products and were uncertain as to when they would make a deal and tie in their newest wells. Prices have definitely improved since, though I for one believe we could see further strengthening over the next few months. I support Chinook's goals to obtain the best prices and to delay tying in production until the price is right. I for one have doubts that they have locked in take away agreements for  all 6,300 of their new production capacity.

This winter will make significant draw downs of gas inventory. Enough I believe,  to surprise some gas shorts.

Over the longer term, say 10 years. Natural gas prices will rise to unprecedented hieghts due to conditions on the sun. The Maunder Minimum is fast approaching. This event was last seen in the 1645 -1715 when a mini - ice age was experienced temperatures dropped an average of 0.6 degrees Centirgade or 1.1 F. degrees. Co-incidently it was also at the beginning of the industrial revolution and the beginning point on which global warming activists begin their script.
