RE:Chinook value

RE:Chinook valueI think the difficulty is the small float. We are trapped in a company with a large majority controller and no liquidity for the minority float.

No potential acquirorr can make a  low ball run at acquiring control of the company because they know they won't get consent of AIMCO unless they come in with a really high offer. And there probably aren't many acquirors that are prepared to pay alot to sit shotgun while Aimco drives the bus. So we are left in this sort of limbo with a festering share price even though there are a large number of value catalysts. I think only solution is for Bison and Aimco to take the company private (perhaps they take the remaining shares between them pro rata to their current holdings). Only question is, what price are they willing to offer the minority ? And are there enough interested minority shareholder to try to block and push for a higher price ?

Unclear what Bison's strategy is in all this - unless its to push for a buyout by an Aimco / Bison / Management consortium with Aimco maintaining control.

I think this will take a couple of years to move anywhere. They really have to prove up the land first before they can justify any kind of value that would make someone think of taking out Aimco at a price that Aimco will accept.
