Alcohol? Edibles? These are the dots that are getting missed out their in retail!! Brad has been as clear as he can in saying the negotiations are ongoing.

Hi Oldweed....I agree with you and have not sold a share through the last few months . But I'm in for a hefty chunk and I gotta say it's been painful to watch theae last few sessions. Just as the momentum was started to build nicely, Citron started a shitstorm of negativity with Cronos, Namaste and now Tilray , and since then there's been a piling on of doom and gloom from bnn, globe n mail etc etc. Up to then it looked like money was rotating in to TRST from WEED and APH which is logical and what we were all banking on when valuations began to get seriously questioned. But what this latest downturn has shown is that regardless of how good we are, we are the proverbial baby that gets thrown out with the bathwater. And it wont be the last time either. Frustrated me to hear Brad acknowledge their laid back approach..ie: in the Midas interview he says something to the effect of..."were not a press company, we focus on execution then we announce when everything is finalized". What? Why? When your stock is pulling back you would rather sit on material news while all your competitors fly by you? That would be ok if when they pull back we retain our support but we don't..we fall right along with them and more often than not, for some reason we take twice as long to catch up. Mgmt really should be more sensitive to this. If there is a pending Nasdaq application they would be better off to say so rather than let speculation cause even greater volatility. Another thing ...I really hope they don't get some crazy notion that they will acquire ALEF...don't like the mgmt and I fear they would pay too much for something they already have access to if they need it. Sidebar....I know you were thinking about getting in to IAN...now might be a good entry since they just announced a bought deal at 6.65...stock has already traced back to 7, I think 6.50 would be a good entry if it gets there.....

I hear ya about being thrown out with the bathwater! Brad did appear layed back and I took that as someone very confident in the plan and what is lined up and knows the hype is not required.... That's the the way it hit me when I noticed that comment. It is fistrsatung not to gain as quickly too as I lost about 5000.00 yesterday with my ill timed APH play again! Rrrg...and of course had I risked another day in I would have gained about the same. I don't think ALEF is a buy but a strategic cost saving option and supply as business is so good they expect to need the extra volume until the current planned expansions are complete. This will protect us from over expansion should a glut appear in a couple of years and at the same time lock in a strategic partner should the need arise with new contracts inbound in the years to come.....this is the frugal approach in spending our shares that will pay off in the long run IMHO. I would hope that our new distribution partner will up the PR game and propel TRST far beyond where we are now....just wait until this jewel gets churned through a big marketing operation like that. Combine this with the Apotex and that distribution chain of 115 countries and I think we are all quite filthy rich! Juslook at TLRY and they can't hold a candle right now to what TRST can offer.....except maybe sell iss some cheap crops I'm a couple of years as our sales are through the roof!!!
