CannTrust Ownership 40M out of the outstanding 106M shares (pre dilution) traded hands today in CannTrust across the TSX and NYSE. 31M new shares will be issued and "selling shareholders" have given up just under 5M shares. A large power shift has taken place in the ownership of this company.
Some of the major shareholders were butting heads on the direction they would like to take the company and as a result this deal unfolded. Deal closes Monday and this company can move on to the next chapter.
