RE:Suncor

RE:Suncor The Valleyfield unit was only supposed to perform short term tests 2 years ago. It wasn't supposed to operate for Husky on a permanent basis. They did the tests in Valleyfield instead of Alberta, because it was cheaper to do so, and the CO2 wasn't needed in Alberta. They didn't have a plan for CO2 utilization. This time is different, the CO2 will be used. So we can expect the unit to run as long users need the CO2.

As for the Alberta project to be announced, I sure hope you are right. I also hope that the when is soon.

CarbonWarrior wrote: Very happy to know that Suncor is now officially part of VCQ. 2 years ago Valleyfield unit was supposed to go to husky site and operate there... then came vcq and now all makes senses. Cst preferred going to parachem site instead... Now suncor the king of oil sand is in! Suncor operates in Alberta! All fits now. Alberta project will be announced its just a matter of when.
