Rotated packed bed is 30 time smaller will use less energy and less enzyme. Cost Numbers must be very low. If so, game changer

Do you remember if Cst has ever discussed OPEX? I'm asking because in this new video about CCS, Shell is saying that the OPEX at Quest is approaching $25 per tonne (and they seem happy about that). That's an awfully high OPEX isn't it??? https://www.cleanerfutureccs.org

From what I remember the OPEX for the packed tower is very small. Probably pennies per tonne. Their cost is in the CAPEX. OPEX for rotating packed bed is probably higher than for the packed tower but CAPEX should be smaller.

Yes, the opex is mostly electricity to run the pumps. Very little opex.

Thank you both. CST could highlight that in their marketing messages when they get to that point. It's all about total cost of ownership and they have quite an edge in that regard.
