Something is brewing

On sedar, the notice for the annual general meeting has been modified. It is now for an annual general and special meeting. I wonder what the special will be.

I hope not. I held shares for 14 years. I don't want to get out just when they are about to get money from the Resolute/Serres Toudndra contract. I don't want to get out before a few years when they will have dozens of such contracts. And at such time I will probably want to hold to get dividends.

I understand your position. For myself, i would tender my shares. Its been long enough. I think they would have to offer at least 0.25$ per share and most will cave.

How long before the meeting do they have to release topic of the special meeting?

That's a good question. The last time they did this was the Nov 30, 2016 Annual General and Special Meeting where the "special" part was to discuss a new shareholder rights plan. The notice of that and related materials were published on Nov 3, 2016. With this year's AGSM being on Nov 15th, maybe we'll receive something in the mail either next week or the week following?
