As yet there is no way to kill the beetle other than extended periods of -30c weather. The Princeton area gets very little if any real extended cold weather needed to kill the beetle. So,addional dead pine wood will be coming for many years to come.It's likely that the wood supply will last a lot longer than the life of the power plant.
