LONGS

LONGS

I think all the longs will be very happy shortly.  I have nothing to back this up but a positive feeling about this mine eventually getting approval.  Has been a long time coming already.  Lets hope it continues to creep along in the right direction.  When you look at the management of this company and all the things behind the scenes (Copper Mountain, Quinsam, etc) things look positive.  The most important consideration is to realize the political landscape is only getting better, not worse.  BC needs these jobs in a big way, there is just no way around it.  I used to work at the Sullivan Mine in Kimberley which at the time was the largest underground mine in the world.  The mine has since closed and you would never ever know it was even there.  Responsible companies take care of the environment before, during, and after a mine operates and I believe CEC is one of those companies.  Realistically some of the unemployed people in opposition to this mine will likely be submitting resumes when it opens.  Mining pays big and will boost that local economy in a big way.  People need to realize that with the planning CEC has already done it will be relatively easy to address any environmental concerns that are potential stubbling blocks.

Go longs!
