mokita: elephant in livingrm--economy for coal etc why are proponents and fan club ignoring the economic forecasts for coal--DEAD IN WATER--and exposure via BC Auditor General, Uvic Environmental Law Clininc, and key stakeholders who responded to CEC AIR/EIS submissions of a corrupted environmental review and oversight process. Cutting environmental laws, reducing mine inspectors to less than a handful, failure to fine companies who are polluting (Quinsam and others) AND the reversal of economic forecasts that gave rise to Premier Clark's expansion program and the Raven project means claims of creating jobs while protecting the environment are delusional at least and exploitative at most.
