Re Walter Energy Shuts mine and charged w/ polluti

Like CEC, Walter Energy promised over 300 jobs that will be lost when Willow Creek, which produces much higher quality coal than Raven, closes down. Why?  A  bust market, with no end in sight and high, rising production costs.  Like Teck coal mine  poisoning of Elk River, Walter Energy is charged with failing to mitigate a toxic spill that is poisoning extensive water sources near one of its Alabama coal mines.   In light of this case study evidence of  coal mines failing to create the jobs due to current market conditions AND polluting watersources, the EAO will have a hard time rubber-stamping CEC's mine permit application.
