Port Alberni council screening process

Port Alberni council screening process

Just went through the Alberni City Council Agenda at  www.portalberni.ca for tomorrow's meeting and see that it had the City Managers report on the review he's done of the AIR for their part in the screening process.  He indicates that it does appear to address what they brought up as concerns at least so far as transportation through th city and handling at the port is concerned.  He also indicates though that due to the extreme size and complexity of the report any other issues Council may want to address would require specialized consultation to augment city staff.

His report is on page 75/76 of the agenda.
