The review is not public, so that information isn't available. But I do have friends who took part in the review for one of the local First Nations and he made no secret that it (the AIR) was not very well received, and the City Manager of Port Alberni also said at the last Council meeting that they had some concerns but would save their breath until the public comment period began.

Election tomorrow... NDP ahead by 6 points in the last poll released before voting starts. 

I am doubtful whether an NDP minister will approve the mine, especially if they win the Comox riding because of increased turnout from the mine debate.  Comox is traditionally pretty good but has been one of the top 3 ridings for advance voting turnout this time around.
