NDP IMPLODED Well, well, well. Looks like the province got scared of the NDP at the last minute. Thank god cooler heads prevailed and people thought back a bit to the 1990's. This province can't survive on tourism and minimum wage jobs, it needs good paying jobs that come from the mining and forestry industries. These are the two industries that the NDP decimated in the 1990's while maintaining they were the party of the "unions". What a joke that was and is. When Dix and company started talking about shutting down projects even before they had gone through environmental assessments I think people started to realize what they would do to this province in 4 years. I am sure they may have won this election had they not been so ridiculous. Like many people on this board they couldn't hide their true nature and it showed.
The NDP and many people on this board need to realize that BC is and always will be a resource based province. That isn't going to change. Everyone knows how expensive it is to live in BC but we all do it because we love the province. I know I couldn't survive on minimum wage handing out tourism flyers. No one that supports Raven is saying lets destroy the environment, we are promoting safe and responsible mining and the creation of good sustainable jobs that pay the taxes that keep this province running. We can't sustain on hope peeps, it takes cash and jobs. Political parties that start talking about shutting down things before due process are scary, scary enough that the NDP will have to wait another four years before they can try and trick BC again.
I say go Raven go, I am a proud shareholder and support this project fully. We have a long way to go but with the NDP out of the way it certainly will help. Chrisale, maybe you should open your mind to the reality of this province. I would be very curious to know what you do for a living. Sick of your whining about this project. Why not find a environmental board instead of stockhouse ?
