RE:Not all coal is the same Mokita The day a coal company, any coal company, guarantees with penalties and compensation if renegged, that it will never sell a single ton of thermal coal to any customer, then I will consider buying shares in that coal company and supporting its efforts to mine coal responsibly and exclusively for the steel making market.
Until that day comes, it is simply not worth the risk.
I used to believe the hype from this company that it was 'only steel making coal'. But I changed my mind after reading the submissions and researching the issue. Its refusal to consider sustainable transport of the coal rather than filling our taxpayer maintained highways and city streets with trucks also helped change my mind. Its refusal to listen to and fully address first nations concerns or the concerns of local residents and local government also helped changed my mind.
