https://factsanddetails.com/china.php?itemid=322&catid=13&subcatid=85

the greenies want us to starve and freeze in the dark.

They haven't even heard of ice ages or volcano eruptions

and then there is clean coal, coal to gas, coal to liquids etc

I wonder if the greenies even know that coal is C

Good luck CEC shareholders.

You haven't a clue what you are talking about pj.  This is about the end of an energy era.  It's about transitioning away from coal.  It's about not screwing up the only planet we live on.  If you choose to believe we can't change the climate you are simply uneducated of the facts and that's not a put down, it's simply a statement that some people need ...more

hey chrisale Don't take this personally but.... Either you are stupid or can't read. I won't comment on your ignorance of science as you have already shown that in your post LOL
Comment by chrisale on Aug 08, 2012 12:19am
The difference between your science and mine pj is I have actual scientists from NASA and every other national and international governing body of science on my side while yours has leftover hacks, political blowhards and payed misinformants and criminals... And oh ya, religious zealots too... Since the Catholic Church is actually on the side of Galileo this time the flatearthers have to look to ...more

chrisale, you say you will continue to be blunt and honest, yet you continue to lie and deceive, IMO.   Why not stop steel production altogether then?  You are bent over heels on stopping the Raven, yet you and your cohorts aren't lining up in front of the steel mills trying to shut them down.   Why not?  Hopefully you and NASA find another way of producing steel, until ...more

Lie and deceive. Where? You care to back that up?       You have cauliflower in your ears again.  I will say it again.  Raven coal is not coking coal.  It is semi soft.  It must be blended with coking coal in order to be used for steel making.  And it is of lower quality due to the sulphur, than comparable coal from Australia.  That's the ...more

chrisale, you keep implying that CEC is to be compared with coal used for energy, when it's not.   88% of its coal can and will be used for steel production.    You can keep lying as you have done, but that won't change the facts.  Fact is, saying that CEC's coal will be used for energy is not true.  Only 12% is high quality thermal coal.    Try to ...more

So you have a personal guarantee that despite what the feasibility study says about it being marketable as a high quality thermal (as Quinsam is...) and despite prices being closer to thermal prices than true coking coal prices and that despite pre-production forecasts often being optimistic.... That exactly every 88% of every ounce of coal produced will go to a steel mill? And just to jog your ...more

Sorry realized I bet 88/22 in my last post rather than 88/12.  And 2guys: you need to do a little research the 12% 'thermal middlings' is not the same product as the alternative 100% high quality thermal.

chrisale, you should change your moniker to misleadingchris. Tell us, can coking or met coal be using for energy production? Can thermal coal be used for Steel production? Just because Met Coal can be used for energy production doesn't mean it will. On the other hand, thermal coal can only be used for energy. You are twisting things chrisale. I am simply repeating what Compliance says in its own feasibility press releases. Given this, the process plant has been designed with the flexibility to produce metallurgical coal, with a thermal middlings coal by-product or alternatively a high-quality thermal coal.  So since you didn't answer my question the first time I will have to ask it again. If Compliance intends to ONLY ...more

chrisale, usually when one shows the pros and cons, they show all the pros and cons.   You are being selective.  The report never says they will produce solely thermal coal and you know it.   Provide the entire copy and paste on where they state the mine will be designed to produce thermal coal only.   How can they produce thermal coal?  The coal is what it is.  Go ...more
