No to JV with goldfields.

I don't think a 50/50 jv would make sense for CDV. this project is going to have have great numbers. I believe the majority of the project financing can be done with debt. Then maybe do the remainder with a gold stream or equity raise. CDV is better off using debt then giving up half the project to use goldfields money. best is to just sell the whole thing to highest bidder imo.

I agree.  They should use Goldfields to elicit acquisition offers.   Going it alone is problematic, they have a large CapEx project and it will probably require both new equity and a gold stream in order to get the debt. A useful comparator is Orezone, which has a smaller project, requiring less CapEx, but has had better share price appreciation as the market senses they can do the ...more
