With the Close will we recieve $0.06 more per Unit or they with holding $0.06 per Unt for Capital Gains..?>?

Pretty sure the settlement will be $8.80 exactly. What they seem to indicate is that 6 cents of that total will be indicated as a capital gain distribution. If so, that would mean you would use the balance of the pay out $8.74 to calculate your gain/loss relative to unit ACB. The $0.06 would be reported as a capital gain on the 2019 T3 issued by your broker. Seems cumbersome. Must be some ...more

Curious , if you took the whole Amount of your Shares(counting the Capital Gains) and brought some othere Company Shares, would that Cancel your Capitla Gains you have to report on your Income Taxes..???

Irrelevant what you do with proceeds of Crius takeover. Capital Gain or Loss is triggered by sale. Period. Sale Price - ACB.
