Final Follow-up Aug 6 Payment Date

Hi again folks,

I realize that this is a bit of a dead issue now that the distribution is paid, and all trust units bought out.

I pressed RBC-DI fairly vigorously on the source of August 6 distribution date but in the end they came back with essentially nothing useful. It was more of a response to just make me go away so they could get the matter cleared from their ticketing system.
Here is the last reply received:

Hello XXXXX,

This is XXXXX following up with the Crius Energy Dividend date.

I appreciate your patience, we received confirmation that the August 6th date was a estimated payable date our vendor provided. The estimated date was an assumption rather than fact, and as you know was confirmed to actually be July 15th. Once again I apologize for the inconvenience that this has caused.
Sincerely,

So, note to Olderguy who suggested this is complete fiction made by RBC – You are largely correct, except RDC-DI are not taking responsibility directly. It came from “our vendor”.
