Can someone help me?
How can I reliably get Canadian stock news?
My normal scans didn't show the Shiningbank offer; I follow Find but not Shiningbank. Shouldn't the offer show on Stockhouse's Find Energy - News page? The only clue I got was that the halt/resumption notices mentioned two companies; from that I went to the Shiningbank web site and found the announcement.
Shouldn't it be on Find Energy's site too? After all, they are agreeing to be acquired...
As an investor who watches for news, this is unsettling.

If it isn't here it's just a rumour.

Also if you list your stocks under the portfolio part of stockhouse, with no dollar amounts, just as a watch stock, and tick off news releases ,you will get the news highlighted beside each stock you own or watch.I received the news right away.I also have cnn Matthews, which also showed the halt directly.
