Whatever happened to Mexico?
On March 5, 2012 - Creso Exploration Inc. announced that it had received conditional approval of the TSX Venture Exchange for the acquisition of a 50% interest (the “Interest”) in the Zamora/Campanillas (the “Properties”) mining projects located in Sinaloa, Mexico and an option on the remaining 50% (the “Option”). To exercise the Option, the Corporation has to make a payment of US$20,000 in March 2012 and an additional payment of US$200,000 in June 2012.
I have reviewed SEDAR and the latest interim financial statements and I see no mention of a $ 200K payment to exercise the above option nor have I seen any mention of the property since the initial news release in March 2012.
Does this mean that Creso now holds a 50% interest? Was the payment of $ 200K made? Was the option period extended?
Perhaps a News release in the future would clarify these questions.
