I'm a long term investor and don't do much buying and selling but 2018 has been quite a different beast. First I had all the dough from the AAR take-over and then my wife got the first part of her inheritance.
I hate having cash so I quite quickly found a home for all the dough. I added to some existing holdings - AQN, EMA, NPI, BCE, T, BNS, RY, PPL and initiated new positions in GRT.UN, KEY. TD. So far, so good. All are up except AQN and BCE and I think both of these are close to or in buy territory, especially AQN. They annoucne earnings today after the close. I expect good results and a good divy increase.
Others that seem really interesting to me besides AQN and BCE are BIP.UN and BPY.UN. All my others have run up too much lately to be considered a buy.
