RE:Fyi

RE:FyiAll very true, and I think it is generally a valid point.  I often use this as a guide for longterm support. ie GRC recent raise at  .80.   In the case of CXV I think that one has to use this little bit of info as just one of many little tools from the tool box though.  Once must remember that Dalsin is improving on the PHM model and rather than hinting at news and announcing LOI's he patently stated that only signed agreements would be released.  THEN  turned around and announced a number of transactions that are going to be announced going forward LOL!  Feel free to split hairs on whether these are purchase announcements, or true LOI's, but the effect is the same.  Be that as it may, I traded around the raises in PHM and finally got left behind around 1.30 or so. I did well but missed the final end run.

I think that there is a push to complete some more purchases for just the reasons that you have brought up, and to prop up the share price prior to the end of the required hold period..  It is a good story, the management is proven and getting more respect each day.  But sooner or later, imo, fundamentals win out over momentum.  And this thing has to show more money sooner or later or the price will drop.

I am betting that there will be a couple news releases before that Aug hold is removed to prop up the hold price and mitigate some of the sell pressure that those shares and warrants pose.  Also keep in mind that the warrants  can be construed as a positive by the market regardless of the price as it is another means of cash generation.  And should the company grow fast enough, I believe they can call the warrants as well.  I forget the price, but I believe PHM did this once about a year ago.  Either way this is often viewed positively.

Regardless, your point is valid, but there are a lot of moving parts that I think that will be played that have to be considered over and above the basic  premise.
