CIBC Update

As I suspected, there was no change in my CIBC account this morning.  I again contacted my broker, who told me that the 'Back Office' had sent him a paragraph about the sale agreement having to be ratified.  I told him that it was a 'snow job', and they were brushing him off.  He agreed, and promised that he will call them, and explain that other brokerage clients had not only received their shares/warrants, but had traded them.  He also said that there were many CIBC client who had the old VCAN shares. 
I am at a total loss as to why CIBC has dropped the ball so badly. 
Does anyone have an email address of a VIP/Ombudsman in CIBC? 
Any suggestions gratefully received.

I'm with RBC Direct Investing and BMO Investorline. Nothing yet for VIBE distribution. I did call RBC last Friday and was transferred to a "trader", however, had been told they don't have any information, no notices or anything from the transfer agent. Similar response from BMO Investorline when I also called last week. Frustrating.

I was very surprised to see two new US vibe holdings in my CIBC account this morning US Vibe Growth & US Vibe WTS . Can someone please explain if you have time how they were earmarked time frame/holding requirements etc ? I sold my VCAN about a month ago so was surprised to see these and

If you were a shareholder as of October 30, 2020, and you held those same shares from September 20th (or so) then you were always entitled to receive two lumps (often called tranches) of both shares and warrants. It sounds like you have definitely received the second one, and maybe the first also. The first tranche of shares (roughly 20% of the total) is free-trading today, and you can also

Thanks Dileas48 ! Very informative thanks bud ! I assume what is tradeable now is still only done on the phone with a trader ?  With all the relaxation of weed laws do you think Vibe is in a postion to get traction or just sell and run ? I don't think there is much of a way to beat the tax man just endeavor make as much money as possible and sell the losers for tax loss write offs ???????

And provoke a response it did!  I had an email from Carlo around 8:00pm last evening, and this morning there were both VIBE shares and warrants in my TFSA and RRIF.  Number were off, and only the first tranche. I had my first vaccination yesterday - so not a bad day.

I just checked my account and got VIBE 1st (tradeable) and 2nd (nontradeable) tranche and warrants that expires Oct 29,2021.. not the sept 15, 2021
