As you may already have heard, earlier this afternoon Coast Wholesale Appliances Inc. received an unsolicited takeover bid from CWAL Investments Ltd., a private company owned by Harlow Burrows, Gordon Christoff and Randy Ryzak. The full terms and conditions of CWAL’s offer will be outlined in a take-over bid circular, which we expect to receive within the next 10 days. Our Board of Directors has now formed a Special Committee to review the offer and determine whether it represents fair value for all of our shareholders. This is likely to take some time to resolve.
