MadagascarSome interesting tidbits---- Currently led by a business friendly president (Ravalomanana), who has consolidated power, with little opposition. He's fairly young, so the exploration development environment should remain favorable, for many years. "Ravalo" evidently has the support of the IMF, and several inrenational agencies. Just as in Colombia, the US, and Europe, seem to have realized the importance of Madagascar's heavy oil reserves. In March, 2007, a private, Houston based company (Madagascar Oil Ltd.), raised US $85 million through Credit Suisse, to support drilling on their land based Madagascar concessions. IMO, most CAX investors, have yet to realize, the value of the Candax concessions, in Madagascar. It certainly isn't reflected, in the share price.
