According to their AIF (Annual Information Form - available on SEDAR) the equipment has been mobilized. In addition, a rig has been signed and is being mobilized from the USA for Ezzaouia. I'm liking what I'm seeing so far from this new management team. Here's a couple of quotes from the AIF.
March 2010 – Equipment mobilized for the El Bibane offshore work program to re-connect the production tubing
on the El Bibane 3 well and a rig contract between Maretap and Ulysse Petroleum is signed and the rig is being
mobilized from the USA to commence a multi-well side track and workover program in the Ezzaouia field in May
2010.
Plans for 2010As of the date of this AIF, a jack-up barge is currently under contract and is being used to repair the parted
tubing in the El Bibane 3 well in order to resume production. Upon completion of this work, Candax will begin
planning the workovers of the El Bibane 3 and 4 wells later in the year. The objective of these workovers is to
shut-off the zones of water production in both wells and achieve significant oil production from each well. Candax
is currently investigating rig availability.
