And to keep the farm vote after his tarriffs killed grain prices, Trump just borrowed billions to pay them off. If he puts tarriffs on everything, the US national debt will skyrocket, and it will indeed be the poor and middle class who pay the bill. The rich will just get richer, while the country plunges to third-world status.
