I apologize for not being up to snuff on all your acronyms. I never claimed to be an expert, in fact...quite the opposite. I have openly admitted being an amateur on this forum. Some waste time critisizing....others use that same time to help  educate others.....

Easily offended too I see - Careful not to get "educated" by unethical ID's - this place is riddled with themGood luck to you

Let's place nice folks :-)  We're all getting burnt together.. we can atleast be kind to one another.Hey I know what MM stood for but I still don't exactly understand how they effect the price of the share. I just though it was always supply and demand that moved the price, i didnt know it was an individual or group that can just change the stock price to whatever they deem.I can ...more

What about -actual- education, instead of just half-hearted quotation?Assuming we know what a Market Maker is, can someone educate us (me, at least) as to WHO or WHAT is acting as market maker in the case of DLKM?I would like to know the name of the company (or companies) that enjoys screwing us over as much as possible while providing the market for shares.

A market maker is a firm who quotes both a buy and a sell price in a financial instrument or commodity, hoping to make a profit on the turn or the bid/offer spread. In foreign exchange trading, where most deals are conducted Over-the-Counter and are, therefore, completely virtual, the market maker sells to and buys from its clients. Hence, the client's loss and the spread is the market-maker ...more

Hey guys. Just got back in town and have to be brought up to speed on with what our guy has to say about his trip. I will post early next week with what they tell me. Same as for what news should be coming out. Des, I know you are an amateur here, as I am not an expert myself, but I can at least handle some fluctuation. This over time will come to you as I personally have never seen a perfectly ...more

Thanks.. well I'm still in no matter how hard i tried to get out. (maybe it was meant for me to stay in) I think I'll ride it out for another week or so.  It's really not that i am impatient and can't deal with fluctuation (by the way fluctuating would mean the stock goes up too.. :-) ) its just that i am missing out on other investment oppurtunties because I ...more

Hey Op6, what happened to the Chinese financing announcement?  There were some pretty strong vibes on this board that it would come out earlier this week.  I can't understand the holdup if they've received the money.

I am not sure of the hold-up either. I will try and get a hold of someone today and see what they say. Apart from seeing the bank statements personally, I have been assured that the money is here. Don't know what else to say until I get a hold of someone. I will post as soon as I do.
